Dr. Luis Castro

Dr. Luis E. Castro graduated from the Federico Villarreal National University in Lima, Peru with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989. After over 10 years of successful practice, he completed his Canadian National Dental Board Examinations at the University of Alberta and began his work in Calgary.

With his extensive experience in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Castro has served as a Professor teaching both Prosthodontics and Occlusion. He has lectured at Dental Conferences in both the United States and South America on a variety of subjects including Cosmetic Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Occlusion,Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Comprehensive Dentistry.

Dr. Castro earned his Fellowship at the prestigious and internationally recognized American Academy of Orofacial Pain and is an active member of the Ibero-Latin American Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders. He also has a special interest in Invisalign (a revolutionary and virtually invisible method of straightening teeth), TMD (joint dysfunction), and Cosmetic Dentistry.
